FESTIVE ARRANGEMENT- DIY

Winter's here and evergreens, barks and berries are at their freshest point... 

Pine cones, Cedars brunches, Hollis, berries and Birch trunks are perfect for decorating your home for Christmas so get some and play with them as nature would intend...

let them fall from the sides of a basket rather than stick them up like spring flowers on a vase. put them around some of your fav ornaments... you know, be CREATIVE with it!! :0)

I made a little arrangement that says "Ho ho ho" with color and class and now I'm going to share how I did it...

This is how I did it...

I got my $3.00 basket

1 large pine cone

2 cedar and pine brunches

1 foam berries brunch

1 Doily

Some wide ribbon

I arranged the greenery to look as natural as possible and I gathered it at the base with some string.

I then placed it in the basket making it hang from one side in a casual, easy way.
I also placed the pine cone on one end of the basket to add dimension.



I prepared a bow using a ribbon that complemented the whole natural feel, almost like a burlap ribbon but not so coarse.

and that's all!!
You can fill up the basket with some of your favorite Christmas decorations like a village piece or some ornaments, I used a nice pineapple shape concrete form that I love and a doily and this was the final result!!
