Kraf paper wedding invites
So, someone's getting married and I went insane with ideas for their wedding invitations...

Today the trend is Kraft paper, well...is been for a couple of years now, since the country chic style came back to hunt us all with its organic, down to earth feel and muted shades of beige and browns...
I must say though, this "look" is extremely romantic which makes the perfect theme for weddings, of course.
Nowadays you can buy cards and matching envelopes in kraft paper so you don't have to fold the card-stock sheets we're use to deal with which is great!
This is how the invitation opens up to display a fully customized printout for the specs of the event.

The laced borders are actually graphics made to look like real lace overlapping the top and bottom of the sheet.
I printed them on colour because I wanted to look consistent with the brownish tint of kraft paper.
I also made tags that carry on the same country-chic feel as the invitea the only problem was...
I had no idea they were planning to invite 300 people!!!!!!!
O.k so the story continues...
They decided to make their own kraft paper invites but I offered to make the tags so I've been making tags since Novemeber and by today (Jan 08th, 2014) I have 150 done...that means there's only 150 more to go!
Here are some of them.
With foil doilies...
punched and stamped...
scalloped with cupcake cover paper...
more foil doily...
stamped on dark kraft paper...
more scalloped shaped with cupcake cover paper...
damask print and foil doily...
white doily on kraft paper...
custom printed background w/hearts......
I'm still making tags so I'll update in a few more weeks...
